For SIXAGON, it is an important mission to make ESG-compatible sustainability manager training available in Eastern Hungary as well. To this end, we have signed a cooperation agreement with one of the first sustainability training organisations in Hungary, the Green Business Academy (GBA). From October 2024, the 7th year of the Green Business Academy will start with a training course in Debrecen, which offers academically sound but practice-oriented knowledge within the framework of the Certified Sustainability Manager (CSM) training. Almost 300 people have already graduated from the Green Business Academy, including SIXAGON's founder-CEO, Péter Gemza.
The Certified Sustainability Manager (CSM) training is a 210-hour hybrid adult education course that combines online learning modules and face-to-face consultations in Debrecen to ensure that participants are able to develop both a long-term, holistic sustainability strategy and a short- and medium-term action plan after completing the course. The two-semester, Hungarian-language training will be delivered by Hungary's most renowned sustainability experts. The content of the training, which will start in October 2024, has been expanded by the Green Business Academy to reflect the changes in European Union and Hungarian legislation, and will include the latest sustainability knowledge and legal frameworks.
