On 12 December 2023, the implementation of the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme was officially closed, in the framework of the Annual Event organised in Baktalórántháza. The representatives of the European Commission, the Managing Authority and the National Authority, as well as the ROHU beneficiaries gathered to celebrate the results of 7 years of Romanian-Hungarian cooperation and the joint efforts for the development of the cross-border region. In addition to the useful exchange of experiences, the calls for proposals for the 2021-2027 funding cycle were also discussed.
SIXAGON has also submitted its own soft project in the people-to-people category, and we are eagerly awaiting the outcome. We will continue our efforts to ensure that the communities on both sides of the Romanian-Hungarian border can develop together, mutually reinforcing and sustainable.
