Thanks to the Visegrad Fund, our application " Visegrad Art Market - happy to share " has been approved for funding. The project aims to improve the visibility of cultural and creative industries (CCI) in the Visegrad countries, to strengthen their international network and to communicate their current challenges to local and regional decision-makers.
The project idea was born out of the recognition that cultural and creative professionals in the region often operate as self-employed or informal groups, which makes it difficult for them to increase their visibility and networking. The project aims to help cultural and creative professionals in the Visegrad region to break out of their own narrow markets, engage in international cooperation and learn from each other's good practices in community building, communication and sustainability.
The project will organise webinars, study tours and the Visegrad Art Market international fair in Debrecen in the summer of 2025.
Our partners in the project "Visegrad Art Market - happy to share" are MAME Market from Kosice (Slovakia) and Estrada Rzeszowska (Poland).
The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the Fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
